This comes from deep within my heart and mission in life, so thank you for your kind attention.
Self-Therapy, as I approach it, prioritizes embracing and actualizing your own Self Knowledge, Self Awareness, True Self Care and Deep Self Healing (which is to say Higher Self Care and Multidimensional Healing), aiming to feel better, act better, and flow into a greater co-creation, in harmony with our surroundings, and with all of our relationships within and without the greater environment. The aim of Self-Therapy is to witness and support ourselves and others, in making room and holding space (compassionately!) for our own natural processes and transmutations.
As a Self-Therapy Guide, I provide deep insights, reflections, and tools, to help create alternative behaviors, and new impulses of pro-positive transformation and integration, triggered by the same moments of doubt and insecurity that tend to turn us to destructive patterns, but dissolving these patterns instead. Sounds good? It's because it comes from a place of constant healing, and constant reconnection.
Now... Some hard facts.
In traditional psychotherapy, there is the implicit understanding that the "patient" is "ill", or that they have a "condition", or a "disorder" that encapsules them under a "mental disability" or some other tag of some sort, and which, according to their standards and mode of operation, is generally incurable and can only be helped by mitigating the "symptoms" (generally through expensive and misdiagnosed drugs and treatments that tend to make such processes longer and provoke more harm than healing), in such way that the person may adapt to the standards of "health" and "sanity" of the industry and ruling powers. Quite convenient for their automated sales systems, and quite far from true, natural organic, standards of health and sanity.
Many psychiatrists and psychologists realized this over the last two centuries, and much more proficiently since the 1960's, and they started new paths of research and mental health practices outside, or stretching the limits within, the pharmaceutical system, many of them quitting or radically changing their medical practices, to include more free, artistic, and soulful expression of their patients' unique authentic beings, and encouraging them to expand on their own virtues and gifts, as part of their therapy. This is where the term Anti-psychiatry comes from. For many of them, the tending of the psyche, and of our "mental health" as such, is NOT a medical issue per se (except for very specific neuro-cognitive disorders and other rare conditions), and does not belong, or should not be confined within the pharmaceutical system, as it is.
But the taboo on this is still strong, and on the other hand we have a big bang of meta-quantum non-plus-ultra coaches and courses, with fancy transformational programs, selling us their very own version of happiness and fulfillment and thriving, and the dream of making lots of easy money following their steps and doing the same as them. Which wouldn't be such a big sticky problem, if they weren't focused on teaching you exactly how to focus on selling high tickets and become a fancy lifestyle advocate because it's the era of wealth.
Again, this wouldn't be half as bad if first of all it wasn't fully supporting systems of high exploitation, and if it didn't leave out (without any care), the great majority of human beings who are living outside of that "wealthy, thriving" elite. They say "grow the elite then, become so wealthy so that you can be free to do anything you want with your money and help more, and in any ways you want to help more without being limited by money". This is a nice invitation, and it makes me dream, but in that dream there remains this vision of inequality, and my spirit invites me to keep standing up for the people who don't have access to all of this healing knowledge and support, simply because of their financial status.
So, one side the medical system is faulty, specially in regards to mental health, and it offers much less help than it sells... The so called "Alternative Medicine" practices, based on ancient practices, have brought plenty of new discussions and solutions to the table, but they are still shadowed by doubt and taboo, and it may be hard to know which direction to take, or what will work for you, when there are so many choices and so much disinformation.
And then the new Online Coaching Industry, on the other side of the spectrum, which in many of its branches acts as a non-medical catalizer for health and wealth, is inflated with people trying to make easy money by focusing mainly on people "who can afford" their help and programs, and by teaching them how to reproduce this model on end, selling you how wonderful it works out in the end for everyone's economy, when really they are mostly reproducing and supporting economic models that perpetuate inequality and exclusion, among other things.
If your tickets are naturally and organically high because of the nature of their contents, that's fair and understandable, don't get me wrong, but if you are raising your prices to "re-target" your audience so you can make easy money "so you can help more", just make sure you are are keeping up with the helping more part, and not only for the people who are paying you.
I wrote this recently while planning for a workshop:
"Beware of "Money Mindsets"
and getting stuck in "making more" (to help more? Help more, then, but really!)
Realize in which ways you already make people's life richer by being YOU!
And value that! Expand That!
Appreciate the value and the return of investment of investing in Your-Self and your deepest calls, your highest visions!"
Because as a regular human being living their life today, where do you turn to, when you need some help or support with your own feelings and confusion? What choices do you have when you feel something is wrong and you could use some guidance in understanding and tending to your own feelings?
This is where my line of work begins. This is why I initially came out as the Anti-Coach, and this is what my Self-Therapy programs are all about... About reconnecting with your inner guidance, your own light, your own spirit, and discerning what your feelings and your body signals are trying to communicate, tending to your-own healing, and your own sense of purpose and direction, growing and becoming a greater version of your Self constantly, as we grow and rise together in a greater common reality.
This is my vision, mission, and purpose. Aiming to thrive in unity through our own unicity, and rising together into expanded consciousness.
So if I had to take on the term "coaching", I'd be your Multidimensional Healing & Higher Self Therapy Coach... but you can also call me your Spiritual Life Doula. ;)
I am here to remind you of your-own knowledge, your own-truth, your-own heart's callings.
And I will always guide you back to Your Own Magick. Not mine. Not anyone else's.
Remember. Remember. Remember.
You are infinite.
You are powerful.
You are loved.
