Where does all this talk about New Earth come from, and what does it even mean?
Some people may still think of New Earth as a religious concept that involves a specific dogma or doctrine to follow to the book. Many relate it to people knocking on doors and offering salvation kind-of-operations. Granted.
But there is a much wider spectrum in the contemporary use of this term, which stretches beyond any and all religions and new age practices if you may, and involves an actual, historical, emerging reality, or rather a new set of possible realities where we thrive in unity, and where each one of us contributes to the harmony of our co-creation from our very own experience and unicity.
The concept of New Earth has been spread as a promise of renovation and restoration by certain religious groups with the promise of a return to some sort of Earthly paradise according to particular scriptures or myths that involve the return of a God, but beyond these religious groups and sects, and across other intellectual and cultural groups, the concept of New Earth is now commonly understood as an unprecedented time in what we know as Planet Earth, a new cycle in our human history that reflects our collective growth and the emergence of new collaborative, restorative, and circular organization systems on an international and planetary level, and where we are experiencing the collapse of old structures and paradigms, and clashing timelines, on behalf of new beginnings.
Which is different than a heavenly promised land where one particular God finally reigns. We are ALL God, we are all a fractal of God, a godly divine magickal embodied piece of the great consciousness each one of us, just as everything else that we see and create. It's all God. There is no need for a return except the return of you to your godly throne. That is, to your highest expression of your consciousness and magick, your very own uniqueness and free spirit, your very own joy and grace.This wider concept of New Earth invites us to each align with what is commonly known as our Higher Self, our Highest expression of Being, which is to say our very own flow and joy, our very own inner wisdom and soul-expression, and to co-create together from there, in greater harmony with the sacredness of all life.
This is evidently something that will not happen overnight, but a new era that is already unfolding, referred to in Astrology as the Age of Aquarius, and in many other traditions under different names. It is all inclusive, it involves the planet as a whole and all its inhabitants. We are all growing in consciousness and interconectedness.
Even as we are still experiencing so much hatred, violence, war and suffering around the world, we must trust our inner wisdom here and now, and anchor our spirit in the awareness that the time of mindless and ruthless exploitation, battle, and conquer over nature is over, and we must stand for peace and unity as we continue to learn, adjust, adapt, and transcend to new ways of relating to ourselves, to each other, and to the Earth (...and Life and Nature in general), in a more blissful way.
Part of this New Earth concept also brings back the concept of Gaia, and us being an integral part of a living system that is altogether rising in frequency and vibration, rising as a collective consciousness. Our healing is Earth's healing and viceversa, and together, we have the power to restore balance and thrive in ways we have yet to imagine, as co-creators of this beautiful, evolving reality.
From the microcosmos of single acts of kindness to the larger scale of planet-wide initiatives and solutions, everything is interconnected in this vision of New Earth. Even seemingly small, everyday actions contribute to the greater whole, shaping the collective consciousness and steering the trajectory of our Planetship.
So this is the context in which I use the term New Earth, in case you were curious, and hoping to help you understand a bit more about the kind of work I do, and what I mean in my content and invitations, whenever I say anything about New Earth. 🌍🙏🏽💗🌹🐆🌼 The term also sticks with me because I am big Science Fiction fan, and the concept of New Earth and Gaia is also commonly referred to in Science Fiction, so I guess that's how I grew up with it.
