ABOUT ME

My name is Flor Pastor, a.k.a. The Nomad Lynx. As you may already know, I am a Mexican Nomad, currently living in Sacramento, California. I am a bachelor of International Relations (which we used to call Intergalactic Illusions back in the day), graduated from the best university in Mexico City -and one of the best in Latin America and the World, UNAM! (Mexico's National Autonomous University). I am also a devoted cosmic dancer and an avid student of our mind's traps and paths, apprentice to all things truth and growth, and spirit magick.

The Nomad Lynx Academy was originated within the N.O.M.A.D. -Nomadic Online Movement Against Depression- project, which I had been developing since 2015, and the origins of the name are related to the Lynx animal spirit, which fully manifested itself since the foundation of this particular mission. So much so, that during the time I getting ready to launch The Nomad Lynx Academy as such, a REAL (wild) lynx cub, which tends to be a very elusive animal, crossed our path and gave us a sweet curious glimpse before going back into the bush one night while driving back from a friend's house in the mountains of Northern California. This was actually my first encounter with a real lynx and it was just a beautiful, unforgettable & perfect moment, and if there were any doubts about adopting the name of The Nomad Lynx before -because of it sounding too "strange" or too different, this encounter surely cleared all the doubts off and The Nomad Lynx was officially born.

Since then, I have been lovingly and patiently crafting and curating the tools and methods that I share, integrating different experiences, studies, spiritual practices, research, learning techniques, etc, into my own multidisciplinary and mystical approach to help you unveil your-own personal magick. These tools include but are not limited to Deep Soul Awareness, the 4-7-21 Method, Intentional Cosmic Action, Dance for the Spirit (Art-Movement-Therapy which was actually my very first therapeutic project, also called Primal Movement Meditations), Collective Dreaming, and more...

 

Lynx as a spirit animal has many different meanings and teaches us many different lessons, which, curiously enough, are all related to what I do and who I am, namely, a messenger of great mysteries and deep truths. Here are some examples:

-The lynx has highly evolved instincts. This animal totem teaches you of the importance of relying on your gut feelings. If you need to deal with some issues, or you need some answers, or you need to make some important decisions or changes in your life and you don’t know where to start, Lynx is a reminder that the best advice is to ask your inner being for the answers you seek.

-The lynx is an animal which can rarely be seen. It is very secretive and as a totem animal it teaches you of the need to sometimes lay low and not to expose yourself too much in public or not to reveal more than you need about yourself to others, especially about your private matters. We are not so secretive in what we do at The Nomad Lynx Academy, but we do like to keep our energy protected and we do enjoy our privacy, so most of the good stuff we do and talk about, you'll never really know until you join.

-The lynx is also a very intuitive animal. As a spirit it helps us discover the motives of other people, as well as their thoughts, feelings and intentions. But also to tune deeply into our-own flow, and focus on our-own intentions to expand our very own spiritual powers and personal magick.

-To find peace in silence. "The winter energy of the Lynx Spirit Totem teaches the medicine of the hidden. And last but not least, the Lynx animal spirit is closely related to the stewardship and preservation of pristine Natural environments. Just like we, at The Nomad Lynx Academy, have a strong commitment to go Back to Your-Self, Back to Community, and Back to Nature, expanding our Collective and Planetary Consciousness and aiming for greater common goals and a respectful integration of our ancestral knowledge and the newer technologies in a greater common reality that is more in harmony with Nature.
